On the occasion of 126 birth anniversary of Srinivasa Ramanujan, Sri Gowthami Educational institutions on Sunday organised “Interschool Math Housey- Housey” to students of Rajahmundry city at its Gandhipuram Campus Grounds.
J. Panduranga Rao, Mathematician and Principal, A.K.C. Junior College, inaugurated the competition after garlanding the portrait of Srinivasa Ramanujan. K.V.V. Satyanarayana, founder president of Ramanujan Mathematics Academy, Ramachandrapuram, and T. Sai Rama Krishna, a mathematician and headmaster, Municipal High School Samlakot, have attended as guests of honour. Speaking on this occasion, S. Ravikumar, Correspondent, Sri Gowthami Educational institutions, said that every one should make use of the mathematical treasure given by Ramanujan. Mr Sai Rama Krishna moderated the programme. The judges committee has announced the winners for the contest.
