Limca Book of Records’- National Record Certificates presented


President of Snehanjali Arts Association V.N. Murthy received the Limca Book of Records’ National Record; the India Book of Records and Srujanaputra award of the Book of State Records on Sunday for his feat of singing non-stop for 13 hours on karaoke tracks here on December 23, 2012. MLA M. Vijaya Prasad handed over the three certificates to Mr. Murthy.

 

 

Seminar on opportunities in IT industry


A one-day State-level seminar ‘digiTALL’ on “IT Education, Opportunities and Industry Expectations” was organised by SPACES Degree College, Payakaraopeta on Sunday. Over 300 student delegates from colleges in districts of Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari and West Godavari participated.

DVLN Somayajulu, Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NIT-Warangal and KV Paparao, Principal Technology Architect, Infosys, Hyderabad were the chief speakers.

DVLN Somayajulu gave a presentation on security and privacy of online transaction process.

He distinguished between online transaction process and online analytical process. KV Paparao gave a presentation on key trends in digital computing. A question answer session followed.
