This apart, Europe, Singapore-Malaysia and South Africa have become the most sought-after holiday spots among international options. When it comes to domestic destinations, Gujarat, North-East region, Bhutan, Ladakh and Kashmir tops the itinerary list.”

Anand says that the younger generation is keen to plan the holiday at least twice a year whereas the elderly wish to go on a long-trip once a year.

To satiate the travel pangs of the city itinerants, Kuoni-SOTC is opening its outlet at Asilmetta on Monday. Apart from the standard offers, one can also avail special package on the inaugural day.
