Inter exam timings notified

Intermediate students attempting their annual examinations this month should report at the exam hall by 8.45 a.m., the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) has said.

Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall 30 minutes prior to the examination time, that is, by 8.30 a.m. Those arriving after 8.45 a.m. and before 9 a.m. would be permitted entry only after their reasons are duly recorded.

A BIE statement said the problem of old and new question papers will arise in the following subjects – first-year Part II Second Language paper (Telugu, Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Arabic, French, Marathi, Kannada and Odiya); Bridge course Mathematics (for BiPC candidates); second-year Part III Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry and Bridge Course Mathematics (second-year BiPC candidates).

Backlog and improvement candidates in the aforesaid subjects should attempt question papers set according to the old syllabus.
