Institute to train youth to become art teachers

A student of Fine Arts of the Andhra University, who spent three decades as a commercial artist, P.T.S. Rao has set up an academy to teach interested persons fundamentals of drawing, sketching and painting.

The institute set up in the heart of the city would run short-term courses for candidates of all age groups, Mr. Rao said.

The institute would also offer courses to train Class X pass youth to pass Lower and Higher level exams and be eligible to become art teachers in schools, he added. This would open career avenues for persons who have some interest in fine arts but cannot afford to go for higher education.

The institute would work seven days a week and the candidates could join a convenient batch of two hours during the day. For details contact 9989489060.
