‘Cult A Way’ is back. The annual techno-cultural festival of Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering, Pappanamcode, begins today. The four-day fete features technical contests, music shows, an auto expo, fashion show, and more.

The technical events begin on the college premises today. The cultural festival begins at Nishagandhi auditorium on February 21 at 5 p.m. After performances by students of the college, fusion band Swarathma takes to the stage.

On February 22, there is an auto expo (10 a.m.) at Sooryakanthi. A highlight will be bike stunts by Rafał Pasierbek, a.k.a. Stunter 13, from Poland, at Kanakakunnu (6.30 p.m.). The cultural programmes of the day include choreo night, a fashion show and Mr. and Ms. Cult contests. There will also be events such as sumo suit wrestling, remote control car racing and go karting, to name a few.

Curtains come down on the fete on February 23 with performance by singers Sonu Kakkar and Clinton Cerejo (8 p.m.).

The students also organise Inspire, which comprises a short film festival and talks. While director Kamal K.M. gives a talk on February 22, filmmaker Shyamaprasad addresses the students on February 23. Time: 9.30 a.m.

Earlier, the students carried out a series of charity initiatives. They arranged a picnic for differently-abled students of Sree Karunya Mission, held an eye donation campaign and organised a run, Cult 350, to create awareness about carbon dioxide pollution.
