The businesses and industries in the State will soon have online single window services portal, eBiz to access Government to Business (G2B) services.

Chief Secretary P.K. Mohanty who inaugurated the beta version of eBiz at the Secretariat here on Friday said the portal would eliminate the need to physically interface with various regulatory authorities at the Central, State and local government levels.

It would allow a single payment to be made electronically for all Central and State Government clearances. Pradeep Chandra, Principal Secretary, Industries, said 28 more banks would come to Payment Gateway in addition to the Central Bank that was providing the facility now.

Mr. Mohanty said the eBiz project was one of the 32 integrated mission mode projects under the National eGovernance plan to simplify the regulatory ecosystem in India. It would provide a secure one stop shop for all investment and business related information services 24×7 on a single portal.

The eBiz portal would be launched in the public domain in a month after getting feed back from the industry and entrepreneurs on the 13 services offered at present. They include permission from HMDA for site and building, for drawal of ground water, approvals of plans from Factories department, factories license, NOC from fire services department, industrial incentives like power, VAT, allotment of scare raw materials, MSME registration, license for manufacturing bulk drugs and formulations.

The Centre selected Andhra Pradesh specially for launching G2B services as it was most advanced State in IT sector.

It had already been doing well in its G2C services through Mee Seva which offered 300 citizen services and recently completed four crore transactions, Mr.Mohanty said.

In the G2G services also the State had made a mark and some departments like social welfare made their schemes totally online to bring in transparency, he said.
