Renaissance Artists and Writers Association, the cultural wing of Ananda Marga Pracharak Sangha, Vishakhapatnam and Chandana Dance Academy organised a cultural evening on Prabhat Sangit composed by Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar at Vemana Mandiram on Saturday.
Central secretary of RAWA, Kolkata, Acharya Chitbodhanada inaugurating the programme lauded the composition, “songs of new dawn,” a collection of 5,018 songs in eight languages for its lyrical style and melody. The songs were composed in a short span of eight years.
Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar has written more than 250 books on different subjects . RAWA singer Ananda Abhiisha Acharya sang devotional and classical songs of Prabhat Sangita. Music Teacher of DAV Centenary Public School of Ukkunagaram J. Dakshina Murthy presented Prabhat Sangit on violin.
