After taking salute at a parade held at the corporate office, DCI Chairman-cum-Managing Director Capt. D.K. Mohanty said of three trailer suction hopper dredger of 5500 Cu. M capacity for which orders were placed, two had arrived from The Netherlands in December, 2012 and July, 2013. The third dredger had been delivered by IHC, The Netherlands on January 23. It will join the fleet in about a month.

Subramanian said during current fiscal, the HSL delivered four vessels including a 53,000 DWT bulk carrier. While the performance of the yard during 2013-14 had been good, the need of the hour was to put in concerted efforts to improve productivity and reduce idle and man-hours, he said.
